Project Description

Modern Home, Grayshott

Built in a 30’s style with timber framing, this modern house was only a few years old when OGL was invited to design and install garden lighting to complement its attractive country garden. This was one of those instances when the clients did not know exactly what they wanted, with regards exterior lighting, but wanted to be able to enjoy the gardens in the evenings and also make the property look more attractive at night.

Working closely with the clients, OGL conceived a lighting plan that incorporated all the clients wishes and then worked hard to discretely install lighting that was automatically controlled at the front of the house, with individual areas in the back garden switched from the principal rooms inside.

From not knowing exactly what to do… to declaring the exterior lighting was just what they had hoped for… can only lead to delighted clients and satisfied lighting designers and electricians. A happy combination
